Associated Colleges of the South

ACS is a consortium of 16 selective private liberal arts colleges that have regional reputations for unparalleled academic excellence. Eager to reach a broader audience, ACS contracted with The Pulley Group to create a book highlighting the distinctiveness of member institutions. Working with ACS and members of the consortium, our team did extensive research, including visits to all of the consortium’s campuses. The end product, Sweet Sixteen: Great Colleges of the South, had its first printing in early 2012.

CGI Initiative for Collaborative Government

CGI is a $4.2 billion IT services business with offices in 125 countries. When the company’s Initiative for Collaborative Government undertook to produce the inaugural issue of a new magazine, Leadership, it turned to The Pulley Group to produce content and provide editorial support.

Nextgov, part of the National Journal Group and the Atlantic Media Company, reports on the management of information technology in the federal government. It brought The Pulley Group onboard to develop and produce a new health IT blog. Nextgov’s sister publication, Government Executive magazine, relies on The Pulley Group to produce special reports.

The Lumina Foundation, a $1-billion philanthropic organization, is the only major foundation dedicated exclusively to advancing the country’s educational standards. Lumina has relied on The Pulley Group to produce multiple issues of its flagship publication, Focus magazine, and to create messages on behalf of the foundation’s leadership.

Association of Community College Trustees

ACCT represents more than 6,500 elected and appointed trustees who govern more than 1,200 community, technical, and junior colleges in the United States and elsewhere. Collectively, those institutions educate 11 million students every year. When ACCT needed help editing and producing content for its flagship publication, Trustee Quarterly magazine, it called on The Pulley Group.
